Better Oxygen and Grease/Oil Barriers, Longer Life

  • In this article, we explore the latest innovations in food packaging that are helping to improve oxygen and grease/oil barriers, extending the shelf life of food products. 
  • Grease-resistant coatings that contain PFAS are being phased out due to environmental concerns. Grease and oil resistance can be achieved without PFAS.

  • Oxygen barrier properties can be improved by using materials with a low oxygen sorption rate and high crystallinity.
